At Amber Springs Hotel, we strive to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all our guests. Please note that we are a non-pet-friendly hotel, however, we gladly welcome registered Service Dogs and Assistance Dogs.
We recognise the vital role and companionship that service and assistance dogs play in the lives of their owners. We are committed to being as accommodating as possible to ensure a welcoming and comfortable experience for all our guests.
A Service Dog, as defined under Irish law, is a highly trained dog that assists a person with a disability. To be recognised as a Service Dog, the dog must be fully trained and registered with one of the following organisations or a recognised international equivalent:
Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland
Irish Dogs for the Disabled
Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind
My Canine Companion – Autism Service Dogs
We welcome all trained and registered Service Dogs and Assistance Dogs at Amber Springs Hotel and on our grounds when accompanied by their registered owner. Owners should be able to provide sufficient documentary evidence that their dog meets these criteria.
If a Service or Assistance Dog is not wearing an identifiable harness or branded lead, our team may request confirmation of its trained status before allowing access to the building.
We also accept Assistance Dogs recognised by Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and the International Guide Dogs Federation (IGDF). Guide Dog and Assistance Dog owners should carry an official IGDB photo identification card as proof of registration.
Our team is happy to assist with any additional requirements to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you have any questions or specific needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us before your visit.
